Carson Hosts Recycling Awareness Day
The City of Carson and the Carson Environmental Commission will be hosting a Recycling Awareness Day in an effort to increase the community’s awareness on the benefits of recycling to the environment. The event will take place on June 14, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Carson Community Center, located at 3 Civic Plaza Drive in Carson. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Useful materials on recycling and the environment will be available at the event, as well as information on how to get involved in future environmental projects. In addition, the event will feature workshops, exhibits, entertainment, arts and crafts, giveaways and door prizes.
